Upholstery and Restoration
We undertake the following upholstery procedures: Traditional and Modern Upholstery, Headboards, Cushions, Caning and Rushing, and Wall-upholstery and numerous other services.
Traditional & Modern Upholstery
As restorers when a piece of furniture is brought to the shop, we are able to examine its overall condition, repair and restore the wooden frame before any upholstery can commence.

We undertake traditional and Modern Upholstery, Headboards, Cushions, Caning and Rushing, and Wall-upholstery etc.
With Antique Furniture, we are sensitive to the original way that the piece was upholstered, we carry out the upholstery in a traditional manner but using new, stronger materials if possible.
To keep costs to a minimum, we do not advocate more work than necessary, and often suggest to build up and improve upon existing upholstery.
With Modern furniture pieces, we respect its construction methods and period features.
Clients may buy their own upholstery fabric or alternatively we offer a selection of fabrics both in stock and also to order from pattern books.
Headboards
We specialise in headboards as one of our employees worked in a headboard factory and has extensive expertise in deep buttoning. We could also design and make bespoke headboards.
Cushions
We are often asked to make cushions to accompany chairs and sofas.
Caning & Rushing
Our caner only specialises in this area and has been caning and rushing for the past 30 years.
Wall upholstery
If you wish to change the feel of a room, you can place fabric on the walls. We have covered single and multiple walls in reception rooms, study-rooms and libraries.
