We undertake all types of furniture restoration both Traditional and Modern, specialising in 18th – 19th Century English and European furniture.
We have an extensive stock of old salvaged timbers which we use for repairs.
For antique furniture conservation we use hide glue in the traditional way.
Veneering
We cover all aspects of veneering such as: banding, blisters, splits, shrinkage and patches, etc.
Casting
We cover all aspects of casting: Metal Casting i.e. ornamented castors. Wooden Moulding copied; rosettes & finials replicated, etc.
Antiquing
Distressing, aging (from new to look like old) in various materials.
Gilding
Both water and oil gilding undertaken. We have a sample gold & silver leaf chart to match or choose from.
